Pietro, a rough and passionate Roma football fan, is suddenly dumped by his girlfriend Lolly, who is fed up with being second to football and his friends. Omero, a serious, and refined young gay man, is also left by his partner Andy, who proposes to him in a public flash mob, putting him on the spot. Omero, now alone in a house that is too big and financially burdensome, is forced to find a roommate. Pietro, who is also looking for a place to stay, ends up living with Omero due to a humorous misunderstanding. Their unusual cohabitation goes well until Omero realizes he is living with a homophobe full of prejudices, at which point he reveals to Pietro that he is gay.
