When his ex-girlfriend is declared brain dead after a suicide attempt, Dr. Philip Laverni decides to risk everything on an untested experiment. Desperate and unwilling to let her go, he puts his own ‘Bridging Theory’ to the test, secretly forging a direct blood connection between his body and the woman’s, hoping his strength can heal her. As the experiment unfolds and Philip pushes the boundaries further and further, he begins to experience side effects that threaten both his health and his sanity.
