Wandering Trees

Directed by Salvatore Mereu

In a remote yet unmistakable corner of northern Sardinia, the destinies of three families intertwine through love, conflict, and loss. After the mysterious disappearance of an animal rescuer, his son Giuliano sets out on a dreamlike search across a wounded landscape. Beneath this journey lies a meditation on childhood as a hidden territory preserved within us all: a place of wonder and protection, where the possibility of resisting the violence of the adult world still endures.
